2012 Mission Trip Opportunities

Central support more than 30 missionaries who serve in almost every region of the world, and we have 4 key international missions partnerships.

The following are our key convictions that shape our foreign missions strategy:

1. We believe that the responsibility for reaching the lost in the world is given to the individual members of the church (Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Corinthians 5:11-21).
2. We believe that the effectiveness of a missionary’s ministry is directly correlated with our church’s prayers (Colossians 4:2-4). We are committed to educating and mobilizing our body towards consistent and specific prayer.
3. We believe that the local church plays a key role in affirming a person’s call to missionary service (Acts 13:1-3). Central’s Missions Committee is prepared to walk with believers to assess both a call towards and preparedness for international missions.
4. We believe that there is a diversity of gifts and interests within the body (1 Corinthians 12), and that service opportunities should reflect this diversity.
