Trip Overview
Projects on this mission trip include, but are not limited to, teaching English to children in the street ministry (offers opportunity to present the Gospel); training older orphans in cooking, canning, freezing to sustain the orphanage; planting fruit trees; painting; and evangelism outreach in the neighborhood outside the orphanage on Thursday.
Trip volunteers will depart from Bryan, Texas, on Saturday, March 10, for Houston IAH at approximately 4:45 a.m.
Flight information: Continental flight 1441 departing at 9:35 a.m.; returning Saturday, March 17, on Continental flight 1468 at 12:42 p.m.
A SHIP trip informational meeting will be held on Sunday, February 5, at 2 p.m. in Bryan for those planning to go on the trip and for those who want more information before making a decision about the trip. Call SHIP at 979.260.7447 for more information about this meeting.
SHIP will have training sessions for team members prior to the mission trip, probably on Sundays, February 19 and March 4. These dates are subject to change, depending on the availability of team members.
